How can a Perfect Master be found?
The Perfect Master is found only through the Grace of the Lord.
He to whom the Lord is kind meets a Perfect Master.
One whom the Lord blesses with His kind favor, oh Beloved, meets the Perfect Guru.

Oh Nanak, when the Lord is merciful, then a Perfect Master meets you.
By great good fortune, they find the Lord, the Embodiment of perfect, supreme bliss.

Many aspire to get a Perfect Master, but only he, who is so destined, meets him.
He alone finds a Perfect Master, whose destiny is so ordained.
He alone obtains the Perfect True Guru, on whose forehead such blessed destiny is preordained.

How is the ground prepared for meeting Him? When one sincerely aspires to meet the Lord, the Master appears.
He who has sincere devotion in his heart, meets a Perfect Master.
Whoever has true loving devotional worship deep within his being meets the Lord, through the Perfect Guru.
